Becoming a member will allow NPSEC to notify you of important issues and provide us with greater opportunities to better serve you.



Membership is open to anyone who supports the mission of the North Penn Parents' Special Education Council. Membership is FREE.

There are two types of membership:

  • Voting membership is open to parents/guardians of current or former students with learning/physical differences who support the mission of NPSEC. These members are provided with a voice in voting for initiatives taken on by NPSEC and also in the annual/bi-annual election of NPSEC board members.

  • Nonvoting membership is open to all other stakeholders who support the mission of NPSEC. These members have access to all the information and participation in activities however they are not permitted to vote on initiatives or election/re-election of NPSEC board members.

The North Penn Parents Special Education Council (i.e., Parents and Caregivers of Children with Learning and/or Physical Differences Working Together with the North Penn School District) is a chapter of the North Penn Coordinating Council, a parent driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The mission of the Parents Special Education Council is to provide educational and networking opportunities to parents, caregivers and professionals of children with learning and/or physical differences within the North Penn and surrounding communities. We do not endorse any individual programs, therapies, schools, theories or practices of any individual person. We are not meant to be a replacement for medical, educational, therapeutic or legal advice.
