Message from Cultural Proficiency Committee Co-Chairs

A Message from the Cultural Proficiency Committee Co-Chairs: We CARE and We Need You!

We are very excited to be partnering with our community on North Penn's efforts around cultural proficiency and racial and ethnic equity. The opportunity to dialogue with our community at the CARE Symposium helped us to gain insight on where we are excelling and where we need to improve. While the CARE Symposium is over, it is only the beginning of the hard work that needs to occur to achieve our vision. We need YOU to be part of that work.

We are looking for parents, students, staff, and community members who are interested in participating and leading these very important efforts. If you are interested in getting involved, please let us know by expressing your interest here. We also encourage you to explore the cultural proficiency section of our website to review our draft plan in its entirety.

Following the CARE Symposium, our Executive Committee for Cultural Proficiency will be organizing and reviewing the feedback that was collected. We will review the information shared with us and adjust the plan accordingly. Want more info? Visit the CARE Symposium follow-up page.

There is much work to be done and this is just the beginning. Please come along with us on the journey!
